Principal Global Investors Selects Eagle ACCESS

Eagle Investment Systems LLC announced today that they have been selected by Principal Financial Group to provide a portfolio accounting solution hosted on Eagle ACCESS. In selecting a consolidated platform to replace their legacy technology, Principal's selection criteria "focused around their desire to leverage a data centric model, exception-based workflow monitoring as well as a mature hosted offering." This decision is reflective of a wider industry trend of investment in data projects and the adoption of hosted business applications. We expect to see other large asset managers seek to replace their existing accounting-centric solutions with newer, data-driven technology over the course of the next several years.
